PRE-GAME JITTERS...

hello there my fav & kickin ladies!

ok so e nxt trainin will b on fri *(u all noe rite,tat we'll play every fri??sat will b optional...if we can get enuf ppl to play on sat den its ON)*...same place,street soccer court at teck whye there at 6PM!!pls try to b on time,if not early...i tink me n zal will b there slightly earlier,like bout 5++..so those who can come early come early kk...pls dun leave us there all alone like sad cases..hehh..

now,sat is optional...we strongly advise tat u gals make urself free to come down fer some last min drills... ((ju & di,we noe u cant make it on fris usually..try to come on sat kk)) so if we can get min 6 ppl to come on down,den we'll have a few hrs of kicks...not too intensive coz we all need ample rest..pls reply asap so tat we can decide whether to hold some prac on sat or not..

oh,did i mention tat its super duper ultra compulsory fer those in e comp to come on at least one of e days??eheheh(evil laugh)..go figure yeahh

p.s: we'll wear our fav BLUE jerseys on e sun beach game kk??no worries,me n zal will handle it,juz prepare to get em from us on fri/sat or on sun itself..

DILEMMA

regardin sat's trainin...

ok so,some ppl suggested sembawang while others prefer west coast park fer trainin..my piece??i dun care,as long as we train n have fun!! haha..unfortunately,i dunno both places very well so i cant list e pros n cons...i need a consensus...so pls vote!!

thus far,these r e statistics (HAHA!):

west coast: manager, (if i not wrong) last
sembawang: za, sap, inn
"anything" & "wadeva": aisyah, zal

e others havent voted...if i made a mistake n put ur name at e wrong choice,tell me oso k??i'll update hehe..pls do choose a place, so tat we can decide on a place fer trainin!!

oh,but regardless of place,meetin time will b at 3pm..trainin muz start at 4pm..

trainings part 2

Training for today is cancelled.

First of all, i know it doesn't affect most of you who are not coming down in the first place. And ofcourse, that's not the point. The point is, if you KNOW you are not coming for training, then PLS just let the person organising that particular training know.

And No, you're not so special that you wait for ppl to actually waste their smses on you just to ask whether you'll be coming or not. Oh you mean we're supposed to know that you're not coming, that you're busy yada yada? uh pls k. every1 else busy too but they let whoever know if they're coming or not.

Ofcourse we need to know if you're coming or not. Because if there's like only 3 ppl coming down for training, then we might as well not have one. It's only wasting those ppl's time as well as the coaches. Because we wanna train together, not with just one or two ppl. And well, its just basic courtesy. And no, don't tell me you're not informed abt training. Ader blog buat ape

Just for the record, it is totally fine if you are not coming for training. Just let whoever know. Im really really sorry if i sound like a nagging bitch but seriously, timbang raser le. I just hope this thingy wont happen again.

On a lighter note, for this sat training, it will be at sembawang park.

Trainings

OK so the consensus is we will have training once every 2 weeks during the fasting month. Though i personally think it is very saddening (cmon, im only seeing u all twice next month??) and that some of u will have some sort of countdown-to-next-trainingthingy, i agree that its gonna be hard to get each n everyone of us to come down during ramadhan what with the penat and haus-ness, buker, terawih etc. (what are we seriously gonna go terawih together after training?)

So, what most of us were saying is that we step up the trainings for the next 2weeks b4 fasting month, to 2-3 times a week. its only for the next 2 weeks so try to come. To our amazing coaches reading this, i assume you are all coming=D

This week, trainings would be:

-On Wednesday, 6 pm, cck

-On Friday, 6 pm, cck

-On Saturday, 4 pm, cck

The girls (ju's friends) who are joining e upcoming comp under the 2nd team, might also be joining us for these trainings so that we can all meet and train together.

Ath just msg me aite.

Training this friday at cck (beside al-khair) at 5pm. Inform me if you're not coming. =D

e curse is broken...despite havin us girls watchin e match,e guys won!! won gooooddd...hehe...first goal was an awesome one by fad,followed by rizman n rizman again (both shots very good larhh pls...e keeper had no chance),den fad (simple...a quick u-cant-stop-it execution)..e 5th goal was by AZA (he outpaced an ang moh defender n let fly a shot)!!!hahaha..

sidetrack a bit,tis was e first time i ever saw my bro play soccer n tis was e first time i saw him score a goal!!haha...i noe i noe,its coz im arnd, den he like wanna show off to his adik arhh...so kena score klau tak paisehh...hahah! bual world on my part...hehe.. anyways,let e pics do e talkin now...........................

HERMAN'S WEDDING!!!

so we all gathered at CCK mrt to meet up..as per usual,our "lets-meet-at-2" became "we-met-at-2.30".. a nice start,no?hehh...so den we travelled down,complainin & whinin bout e heat tat threatened to suffocate e lives out of us,which was made worst coz we were in baju kurungs & baju kebayas...when we reached e place,we were sooo paiseh & segan to go in e ceremony...so,wat to do while waitin??? CAMWHORE!!!!!!

so den we finally went in....we ate...chat2...hmmm...wat to do nxt???ape lagi,ambik gambar arhh!!!!

when u cant b e flowergirl,tis is wat happens....we resort to tryin to be e 'demure' girls that we are ( =D)...

so here's e first part of pics! afta e weddin,we were invited by some to watch e guys' match at pioneer sec...so we got ready to go there,in traditional clothes n all.... HAHA!

Beach Soccer Competition, people...

From ju's email, its a TEVA SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 ands it 5-a-side. IT has FOUR categories with the FOURTH one being the WOMAN'S OPEN. This spot seemed more for the guys....hahaha. Kelakar nye...dot dot dot.

registration is 75bux per team (5 persons)
date: 31/08/2008, sunday
time: 9am- 6pm
place: siloso beach, SENTOSA

last date of reistration is.....if my eyes can read the super duper small font....18/08/2008, in a weeks time!!!

so how people? its one day before puasa!!! hahahaha.

hey ladiess here are 2 cents worth fer an update! =) resus mode

latest comp we entered was 27th July, for temasya sukan pilot pen. we were sposed to meet at tampines mrt at 715am but as always, haha, we meet at abt 815?? n registration was due by 830am. hahaha. walked ard aimlessly at the hall tryin to find the area and boy we were greeted well. officials were talking to us thru the mike, telling us " 4 MINS TO CHANGE FOR U GALS. U HAVE TO BE SEATED IN 4 MINS" how glamorous no?

the opening ceremony was a paiiinnn, no offence. sitting with a bunch of kids screaming n yelling as early as 845, made some of us feel so old n tired bleargh.. but we made it thru n we saw makciks!! pls eh makciks main violent, sampai boring aisyah. heh. happy that it wasnt a knock out and tat we were playing 4 games. ( notice how the no 4 keeps coming up??)

coaches were ther n naf stopped by too. thanks guys! =) whole team ard was a great feeling. first match against the young generations was sposed to be victory in our fav, no thanks to "great" referees tat were employed fer the day. we tied due to a illegitimate penalty. the goal on our side was unclaimed, unsure of who scored it but we scored. haha

2nd game we were more upbeat n raring to go. macam da semangat. heh n tis one we drew again 1-1. with a nice goal by aisyah (woohoo!). i dun remem ber how the goal was scored cos its quite sometime back now.

the next match was with the gypsy ladies. makciks with anaks! makciks played a nice game, great passes n great spacing. they rarely ran fer the ball but played w great passing techniques. maklum lah dah lame main. we played well, conceding 2-0 but overall well.

the last game was w ...(crap tak ingt name team), the team we were most worried abt since they trashed previous team 8-0. we played a defensive game, n conceded by only 2-0. end of the day we were 3rd in the team of 5, short of a spot to level up to the next stage.

though we din win, nor did we qualify fer semi-finals, we enjoyed ourselves thoruoghly and felt like we made gd progress as individuals and also a team. having said that we still can improve more as always but we did try our best. kudos to the defence team that was reali compact during dangerous times, kudos to the stikers n midfielders for relentlessly tryin to demolish the defense to the other teams. kudos to skopet ladies! =) each and every one of u did a great job n deserves more than a pat on the back. till the next time!!
