im writin on behalf of all e skp-ladies,coz im sure everyone feels e same way too..rite gals?? ((YESSSSS!!!!!)) hehh

i feel tat e trainings on 27 June (FRIDAY,NYP) & 30 June (SUNDAY,SOMEWHERE IN BUKIT PANJANG) were awesome coz i feel we learned extra alot & plus we witnessed on fri how e coaches play & how they managed to find spaces even though its 3 peeps VS 7!!(although,we still won in e end and earned our well-deserved prize=refreshin H2O drinks!! :D ) its been a great learning experience wif loads of laughter n fun!!

oh n err,shld there have been touchy/not funny jokes flung arnd by me or anyone,dun take it to heart yeah ppl...quotin inn: "MAIN MAIN JE!!"

i personally m lookin forward to our future trainins/outings/dinners/etc together!! those who emphatise wif me shout "YEAHHH!!" haha..

oh which reminds me..sentosa trip!! lets make it happen.........ideas,schedules & money will have to b presented so lets brainstorm!!

MDIS update
Hmm, for MDIS, I've got nothing much to say. It was a knock out comp...and err..we got knocked out early..Kite datang buat Cameo appearance je...for 8 mins on court..
and so since kite dah kalah, kita cabuts arh siang2.....

NEW training spots
Then we play at this Redhill neighbourhood court...After playing there, I realised that this place cud be a great place to train..I'm just suggesting but I need a consensus amongst u guys though..Here's some reason why:

1) Redhill= Centralised location ( It can't get any central than that)
2) Very near Redhill MRT= 10 mins walk...
3) Shower facilities= There's Delta sports hall opposite the court
4) Mosque = Very near. 5 mins walk
5) Provision shop= just beside the court
6) Shady= Lotsa big trees near court..So yest when we play at 2pm, it was ok.

However, this place has abit of a ghetto feel to it and we might have to share the court with outsiders...
And oh, I think we can alsp try to use those 'Free to Play' field..3pm to 7pm..So we can get used to our boots lah...
So lemme know what you guys think

I think we need a list of whose joining soon..so that we can train ASAP...Any volunteer to handle this comp??? I really hope most of u can make it for this comp for exposure..coz normally after aug onwards..cam takder comp sampai lah next year March gt..Ni based on my observation lah.

All MDIS participants...Pls read carefully

We have to be at MDIS UniCampus501 Stirling Road by 11am..It's at Queensway area there..So, I want us to meet up at Queenstown MRT at 10 am. Dun be late..coz I'm not really sure where the place is exactly and we might need sometime to figure it out. Fad says it's a 7-10 mins walk kinda thg..but I think us girls may need like 20 mins..Our first game is at 1115...so I'd rather we be early and have time to change/rilek2/warm up etc..

BTW, the teams joining are those teams we've seen in DLF and cage comp.SMU, NTU, hot fudge etc...The rules kinda like the rest of the comps we've join.Our first game will be with the NTU red tigers..Fierce pe tuu....I think it's my friend's team..Hmm..I see if I can work out something with her..lol..( giler ke!)

Anyway, TEMASYAN SUKAN PILOT PEN 2008 ada organise this sports carnival and there will be a 7-a-side soccer challenge. Lyk the guys' blog says, the guys soccer is only for under 17s but the LAdies soccer is open to all!!! Mari berjoget...lalalalalalala.

They want 15 ladies team in the competition...how bout we make one of those 15 teams Skopet LAdies? Amacam?
Anyway, prices is $80 (shared by 9 members...7 players and 2 reserves) on which we'll be getting 9 jerseys, a soccer ball and 9 pilot pens. wakakaka. buka skola nanti bagus ni, ada pen.

COmp is on the 27th JUly where everyone has to be at Tampines Stadium Training Pitch by 8am. We gotta attend the apening ceremony at 8.30...yadayada...

oh, ya, did i tell you that if we did join, we gotta play in the given jerseys and not ours tau....baju free lagi!!! ish, muka freebie habis se aku.

1st prize is 200bux + 200bux worth of Parick/Topper sports products.

Hey there.....First of all, I really wanna thanked all of u for ur enthusiasm for DLF and the Cage comp... Without ur semangatness, the trainings and the comps wouldn't be a success...Being a relatively new team, I can say I was quite impressed with how things turn out for the 2 comps..I know the comps were really tough and also intimidating for most of you..(I still get jitters too!! cuma aku aksyen je mcm takder pape) Overall, the 2 comps impressed me and some of u showed vast improvement within a short span of time..Though most of us still lack in the skills department, I tot the fighting spirit was commendable..
Well done girls..for putting up a gd fight over the 2 days..

Anyway, here's some of my 2 cents worth to u girls..

Zahidah...By far, the most confident keeper I ever had..Good Job Z. I hope u can teach the girls..muka 'game on' kau...

Ina.. Gd blocks and 'covering'..Thanks for helping to guide the team

Inn..Senang kate Woman of the match..U really have that 'defender instinct'..Ur clearance was good...and u are very composed on pitch..

Las..Excellent goal keeping and 'calling'..Hmm..Maybe GK is really ur forte...

Za..Your defence was good..and I kinda like how you 'offer' yourself when u're free..U wud be someone I would call an 'Active' player rather than a 'passive' one..Compared to yesterday, u were more decisive/sharp today..

Ika..U are getting better with finding spaces..U r way 'garang' today than yesteday....Lesser clashes also..Keep practicing ur shooting and 'pick up' ( u know what i mean)..and u'll be fine

Sap...You played well..Garang pon garang..Plus u really help to defend too..Tapi baik2 tau..takot takder stamina nak lari balek to position..

Sham..U did DAMN good ...minah2 tak takot kene rembat..Lots of gd blocks..Clearance wasn't bad at all..I was really impressed with ya..

Anyway, here's the details on the comp by the organiser etc..

Shuttle bus service ferrying participants from Boon Lay MRT to FICO will start at 7.45am and the last bus leaves at 8.25am. Participants please wait in front of Coffee Bean at Boon Lay MRT station.

Teams to be registered LATEST by 8.35am. ( We have to do this early ( bout 8am) coz we have extra admin things to settle due to the replacements of players)

Briefing for team captains will start at 8.45am SHARP at pitch 6.


Please note that international sizes (the shirts you are getting) are smaller than the regular sizes (the shirt sizes you submitted). The size conversion is as follows:

As u guys know, Nadia and Nurul can't join us..but dun worry, Ina and me managed to get replacements..and yes Las is playing.. after her 'osteoporosis' run..( kecoh arhhh..hahhahaha tapi takpe aku suka players aku fit2)

Anyway, the 2 fringe players are Sofi and Aslin.. Sofi wud be playing mainly Def or Mid..and Aslin wud be playing Keeper/ Def.. Phew..luckily can find another keeper..if not Zahidah kene main keeper all the way..My only concern is that..now I have no keeper on Sunday.. So in desperate need of one now..Help pls..

Attire wise. We'll be wearing our blue jersey. Shorts/pants= make it black or dark blue. Socks if possible black or dark blue as well.. I might have extra pairs of black socks..So tell me if u need em....K girls..C ya for tonite's last training..And Please take care of urself..Takmo jadi ayam sakit k..

Been really happy with the turn ups for the last couple of trainings..However, I do hope that next training, I can get everyone to come...Anyway, Tuesday training was great..The drills were fun and I really think we are showing signs of improvement.This wouldn't be made possible without the help of Coach Usop and Rizman..Thanks alot guys..Especially with the formation..everything is so much clearer now..

all in all, eth was great. wild and out was FUN. (sorry for the super unglam spitting-out-water bit) palang tige was EXTREMELY FUN . 4 guys joined to go against us. put it this way. e rest of e guys are too macho to play yeah? (or so the 4guys claimed) oh and taboo was DAMN FUNNY (thou i sucked).

anyhoo, Many many Thanks to all the skopet guys for organising this whole bbq gathering. It was fun=D

Tuesday's Training..

LAST training before the Comp marathon this weekend..( for those joining the 2 comps)..I've already send out SMSes to most and some have yet to reply to me..Hai yo....

Anyway, here's the details for 2moro's training:

Ikan and Aishah wun be around so if anyone can come 1 hr early to help 'Book' court...that'll be great..

Logo color schemes for Girl's Jersey

Hey girls! The graphic design guy just sent us an e-mail regarding the logo..It's either we choose the white and black or yellow and black color scheme..coz the concern of matching the initial logo with our jersey color.The B & W scheme is supposedly a better option in blending the logo with the jersey color..However, some reckoned that B&W scheme wud be kinda 'dead' ..The downside bout the yellow and black is that the color scheme may not match well with our blue jersey...I know, we girls can be very fickle at times ( or most times that is...Haha..) but I kinda need a definite answer ..

I'll leave the option open till 2moro morning..U guys, pls give me ur opinions ASAP...

By the way, the Jersey committe ( Ika, Aishah, Fad & Husni) has done a really great job and most probs we'll get our jerseys by this Friday the latest..So Saturday pakai jersey, bau kedai....

Anyways..Up there is the logo for our JERSEYS~~~!!! Swit ah..Kiter da der jersey sendiri! hahax..but the guys got the red & black ones! gah! cool kepe, red & black..wa suker beb! fave kalers wa..hahax..but yeah..aper2 yang the ladies team suker, wa pun ok go uh! Our blue jerseys are darn cool too! Hehex, tengok la saper yang choose..Them ladies with good tastes! Hehex..

OK, the BBQ PIT was a great fun tym..Had barrels of laughter and sweat..Hahax..We girls had a few 'matches' of the Palang Tiga amongst the girls while the guys COOK (guys who can cook are KEWL! hehex~)..Then after we invited some of the guys to join us..FUN gilers! Hahax..The girls won in the end...HAHAHAX..But yeah..It was damn COOL of the guys to join us as well =)

Amazingly, the girls were more hyped to get sweaty running around..Hahax..It is KEWL man..Who the hell ever hears much about girls who'd rather run around and not afraid of getting all sweaty compared to girls sitting around doing nothing much other then chat and gossip??? Not many..Wahey! Sumer kes tak tau duduk diam! Cam monyet kene belacan! Cam aku! Hahahax..

After sweating it out, we had fun playing the Taboo game after Palang Tiga with the girls and the guys..It was a brain teasing time..Dang..The girls had a rough start, and the guys were damn pro with it laa..Fighting hard though, the girls won the Taboo game in the end..HEHE..

Somewhere over the bbq time (aku luper ah biler..hahax), we had a little kewl ceremony where the Skopet's Anniversary & the June babies birthdays are celebrated..The cake is damn sedap laaah..Hahax..

Speaking of food, the food on display & eaten are good as well..Overall, I had to say the BBQ went smoothly..Thumbs up for the guys! And for the ladies..KECOH uh kiter!!! Hehehex..

Training concerns: PLS read this thouroughly

Attendance
Aku nak kene amik attendance jugak cam pat skola...Like seriously..Come on guys..we only have COMPULSORY trainings 2 times a month..I mean to me that's not enuf to 'oil' our rusty skills..but we're left with no choice coz most are busy..Rite now, during training, we dun just come down to play but we learn skills like kicking, shielding, blocking, stopping high balls and even penalty taking..Things most of us are still trying hard to grasp. Not only that, we also do some stamina building..like just now, we ran around the stadium tracks after the session at NYP.There's only 14 of us..It seems like alot to u..but for most trainings only half wud turn up..then kirekan kite main 3 by 4?? I hope u guys wud spare a tot for the organisers..(esp Inn)..If u cannot turn up for the compulsory sessions due to work/ studies/ family commitments, pls tell in advance..We hope u will give us a valid reason...It's not that we're trying to be strict or what but I think it's just basic courtesy.As much as possible, tak mo last minute back out..Depleting number of players can cause training to be cancelled..and what if some of our players are already on the way to the training place??? What if u were those players? How wud u feel? Tak kesah..if korang lambat coz ader keje ke ape...try datang je ahh.

Admin/Finance
Another reason why these 2 sessions are important is that we cover alot of admin stuffs b4 or after trainings...For example, I need to brief on comp, Za needs to collect money, Ika needs to talk bout jersey etc...And I think it's convenient if we can get everything done in one shot..Za is our tresurer and I think it's very disturbing if she have to keep chasing ppl for money on different occasions..She's mugging for exams and I dun want her to be busy thinking bout money matters unnecesarily. As of today, all comps would be handled by different members..Inn is not going to do everything..Nanti korang dapat rase betape susah dan pening nye nak do this admin stuffs..Las just took charge of 15th June nye comp registration...So next comp/event...some one else must take the lead.

Extra Trainings
Rite now,there are comps coming up and I hope we can slot in extra 2 trainings b4 the 14th and 15th..coz I dun think any of us wanna enter comp unprepared..I'm hoping a gd handful of u would turn up esp those involved in the comps...like Ika, Za,Inn, Sham, Sap, Nurul, Nadia and Zahidah. Dun worry after dah abis comps, kite leh rilek2..and main2..Aku bukan ape..aku tak nak je kiter main comp stress2 nanti..Then kite regret coz kite shud have trained more... So try suggesting day and time please..I'll work out a slot that most ppl can make it..

Replying mails and messages
Pls reply to e-mail and SMSes as fast of possible..At least answer the thing.We need to know whether u've acknolwege them or not.A simple OK would be fine in ur messages for us to get ur point.

To conclude, I apologise if this post might sound bit harsh/too serious to some of you..These are some issues me and Naf were talking about..We need ur cooperation for this thing to work smoothly.

Summary of Safra Comp

Lemme fill u guys on the Safra comp just now..Team Skopet Technicolors gave their all in today's Safra comp. Congrats on surviving on god knows how many back to back games. Comp got on a slow start coz I have no idea which combi would work best..By the time we've got it figured out..It was already the 4th game like that..There were 6 games..We drew 4 and lost 2 games by one goal..Thus, not giving us enuf points to move to next round...It's ok coz most teams were really experienced and know their players well..Ours was abit berterabuh coz we weren't really sure of our own positions..And I can only blame it on our lack of training..I hope we can use this comp as a 'practice' for the upcoming Diva La Futbol comp...I really2 hope all players for DLF and Cage comp can meet up and train at least twice b4 the 14th ad 15th..if not, confirm korang kancheong..

Aside from all these, U'll be glad to know we did score goals courtesy of Ina and Zahidah( though our happiness were shortlived coz the other team counter balek..what a waste..We cud have been better with a tighter defence)..Other things that were commendable was the superb goal keeping by Zahidah, Nurul and Nadrah(Ika and Za pls recruit her)..Ina 'kaki Van Damme' did a mighty fine job being the last man ( or woman) and she did countless blocks (go learn from her..if she trains with us)..I hope with this comp u guys see the importance of trainings for comps..Trust me u dun wanna be in a game and feeling all nervous ...By the way, I hope u guys aren't mad at my motor mouth during the game..I very the 'ON' one on court
